Diligent neighbourhood planning and zoning for diverse housing options meeting various income levels and lifestyles, explore diverse partnership opportunities, private and multi-level government funding
Social Support
Collaborate with nonprofits, health agencies and community support services providing transportation, food security, health care and shelter
Service Delivery
Working to enhance municipal services to be more accessible, efficient, transparent and responsive to community needs
Safer Streets
Continue to push for effective traffic calming solutions, especially intersections, addressing incessant red-light runners, aggressive and dangerous driving and lack of concern for the safety of other drivers and pedestrians; something must be done before more are injured and worse, killed
Parks, Recreation, History & Arts & Culture
Ensure balance between green space, gathering places, growth and development, support local sports initiatives and organized leagues, continued support for the West Parry Sound District Museum and its preservation of our history, continue to advocate for the Parry Sound Public Library, local arts and culture including the Charles W. Stockey Centre, Art in the Park, local volunteer organizations
Community Voice in Education
Strengthen community voice and shared responsibility in local education
